E5554 9 3/4" Starch Blue over Clambroth/Alabaster Dolphin Candlestick with Double-step Base. This is one of the "no-eye" dolphins that Barlow & Kaiser refer to in Volume IV. The base has only minor flakes, but each of the petals is a little bit rough. Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, ca 1860.
